Progression shot of the first scene

- No right angles (this refers to modeling and design in general)
- create on camera (like a 2d painting all textures are textured only from the camera perspective)
-perfect imperfections (making perfect elements imperfect in every aspect of production)

The textures work only in camera perspective. This way we could achieve a 2D look while saving texture data. The real time render engine Eevee allowed us to work and render in real time.

Hello everyone! This is my graduation film "La Vida de una Piñata", which I made in a group of four this year. It was a super fun and rewarding project. In this project I was responsible for many disciplines simultaneously. I did Direction, Art Direction, Technical Direction, Modeling, Texturing, Animation 3D, Animation 2D, Graphics, Lighting and Compositing. We used Blender as our main production tool.

For me, it was important that we could create a certain handmade look for the film. The key to a handmade look is simply to imperfections to the computer generated "perfect image". For this reason I set up design rules to achieve this goal within the group. These rules were:

- No right angles (this refers to modeling and design in general)
- create on camera (like a 2d painting all textures are textured only from the camera perspective)
-perfect imperfections (making perfect elements imperfect in every aspect of production)
